Jon Webster is currently in his fifth year in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2018 he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a focus in Structural Systems. Upon graduation, Jon wants to begin working at a Structural Engineering firm and eventually obtain his PE license.
This past summer Jon worked as a Geotechnical Engineering Intern for Schnabel Foundation Company in King of Prussia, PA. Working in an office with only one other employee, he quickly became involved in all parts of many different projects. At the end of the summer, he was offered a part time position to continue working while in school. Jon currently works as needed for Schnabel Foundation Company.
In the summer of 2016, Jon was a Project Engineer Intern for Skanska USA Building. He worked on site at a water treatment plant being constructed for Penn State University. Through this internship Jon gained invaluable field experience.
Outside of structural design, Jon enjoys staying active. Some of his favorite activities are hiking and going to the gym. He has also been playing soccer almost his entire life and intends to continue playing for many more years. Recently, Jon has become interested in Golf through his friends and a Golf class he is currently enrolled in.
